In this role, you will develop engaging curricula, deliver hands-on instruction, and ensure that all participants understand essential safety protocols to foster a safe, compliant work environment. Your expertise will empower learners to confidently and effectively apply safety best practices in real-world settings.

Duties:

Design and develop detailed safety training curricula tailored to diverse industries. Deliver engaging classroom instruction using adult education techniques to ensure learners grasp complex safety concepts clearly and confidently. Conduct practical demonstrations and hands-on training sessions on topics including OSHA standards, technical knowledge, learning platforms, and curriculum development. Assess participant understanding through evaluations and provide constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement. Stay current with industry safety regulations and standards to ensure training content remains accurate and compliant with OSHA requirements. Collaborate with industry experts to enhance training modules and incorporate the latest safety innovations. Maintain detailed records of training sessions, attendance logs, assessment results, and certification statuses for all participants. Requirements Proven experience in teaching or instructing adult learners within construction or industrial environments. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations 1910 & 1926 and industry-specific safety practices. Familiarity with curriculum development for technical subjects. Hands-on experience with learning management systems and other educational tools. Technical knowledge across sectors like manufacturing, construction, electrical work, first aid, LO/TO, Trench/Excavation, fire safety, confined space rescue, and rope rescue. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and motivate learners. Ability to adapt training methods for diverse audiences with varying levels of prior knowledge. OSHA Outreach Trainer in Construction/General Industry is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge in safety standards 1910 & 1926 or related fields is preferred; ongoing professional development is encouraged.
