Director of Professional Development Full-Time | Exempt | Orlando, FL | On-Site ORRA is looking for a dynamic education leader to run one of the most active professional development programs in Florida real estate. About ORRA The Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association (ORRA) is one of the largest REALTOR® associations in the country, serving over 18,000 members across Central Florida. We exist to empower real estate professionals with the tools, education, and advocacy they need to thrive. About the Role The Director of Professional Development leads ORRA's full portfolio of member education and professional growth programs. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Member Value, this is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of education, events, and member engagement. You'll plan, market, and oversee all educational offerings, from NAR designation courses and continuing education to the New Member Orientation and professional toolkit series. You'll manage a team, negotiate contracts, collaborate with the Communications team, and keep ORRA's learning calendar running at its best. This is the right role for a strategic, organized leader who's passionate about professional growth and ready to make an impact at scale. Job Duties Lead & Execute Education Programs Plan, organize, and oversee ORRA's full portfolio of professional development programs Ensure delivery of high-quality designation courses, CE classes, professional growth courses, and member education initiatives Maintain and evolve the annual education calendar aligned with member needs and industry trends Manage Partnerships & Compliance Coordinate with instructors, speakers, and industry partners (including NAR and FloridaREALTORS
®) Oversee contracts, course approvals, and compliance with DBPR, NAR, and state requirements Ensure accurate reporting and timely course renewals Drive Marketing & Member Engagement Partner with the Communications team to promote education programs Support development of marketing materials, campaigns, and the annual education catalog Ensure strong visibility and participation in all training offerings Lead the Team Supervise and develop Professional Development Coordinators and support staff Provide guidance, direction, and performance management Promote a collaborative, high-performing team environment Own Budget & Operations Develop and manage the department budget Approve expenses and oversee financial tracking for all programs Stay Ahead of the Industry Monitor trends, regulations, and best practices in real estate education Represent ORRA at industry events, conferences, and workshops What We're Looking For Required College degree or equivalent management-level association or business experience. Experience working within a REALTOR® association, trade association, or membership-based organization. 3+ years of experience in education program management, event planning, or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; working knowledge of database management systems. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with maturity, diplomacy, and confidentiality Strong written and verbal communication, planning, budgeting, and supervisory skills. Preferred Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field Experience designing instructor development and training programs Familiarity with NAR, FloridaREALTORS
®, and DBPR continuing education requirements and reporting processes Proficiency with AI-driven tools and creative platforms Bilingual (a plus).
