Job Description

Are you an ASE Master Technician with a passion for sharing your knowledge? Join Seminole State College to help develop the next generation of automotive professionals through hands-on, manufacturer-supported technical training.
What You'll Do:
Deliver technical training on behalf of corporate partners through classroom and hands-on lab activities related to corporate automotive technical training courses. Deliver automotive technical training courses as assigned. Prepare training vehicles, equipment, workstations, and instructional materials (must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs). Maintain training vehicles, equipment, and learning spaces. Manage training supplies and support scheduling activities. Facilitate student evaluations and testing. Travel for special training assignments as needed (up to two weeks per month).
Note:
This position will be tied to specific training agreements between Seminole State College and a specific corporate partner. This is a one- year position contingent on funding.
Required Qualifications:
Associate's Degree from a regionally accredited institution. ASE Master Technician Certification. Three (3) years of General Motors experience and technical training certifications. Valid Florida driver's license or a valid license from another state with the ability to obtain a Florida license within 30 days.
Preferred:
Experience as an automotive training instructor. Certified L1 Advanced Engine Performance Specialist. Why Join Us?
