Job Description

Technical training specialist role focused on installation training, hands-on demonstrations, technical coaching, training preparation, and field training support for electromechanical products. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Education, Communications, technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience Technical certificate, Associate degree, or equivalent experience in electromechanical systems, installation, service, or field support 1-3 years of experience installing or servicing mechanical or electromechanical products 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing field Ability to read and interpret schematics Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams Ability to read and interpret service documentation Valid driver's license Ability to travel occasionally Mechanical aptitude Hands-on technical skills Ability to speak to small and medium-sized groups Ability to explain technical concepts in practical terms Ability to learn instructional techniques Preferred Skills Technical product experience Experience delivering technical training Experience supporting installation training Experience servicing electromechanical products Experience facilitating hands-on exercises Experience preparing training equipment, tools, fixtures, and materials Experience supporting field training events Experience updating training materials, job aids, and hands-on guides Job Responsibilities Deliver assigned technical training sessions Support execution, preparation, and improvement of training programs Co-facilitate instructor-led installation training Lead hands-on exercises, demonstrations, and guided practice sessions Provide real-time coaching and troubleshooting support during installation activities Demonstrate tools, equipment, wiring, and mechanical components Support on-site training events at dealer or partner locations Prepare, transport, set up, and tear down training equipment for field events Prepare products, fixtures, tools, and materials before training sessions Maintain, inspect, and organize demo units and training equipment Provide feedback on training effectiveness and learner comprehension Contribute to updates of training materials, job aids, and hands-on guides Share installation insights to improve training content Support safe and accurate demonstrations of installation procedures Support continued development toward independent class facilitation
