Job Description

Job Summary:
Affinity Modular is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Job Trainer to support the development of our workforce through structured training, mentorship, and continuous skill-building initiatives. This role requires strong construction knowledge, the ability to teach and mentor employees, and the initiative to independently design and implement effective training programs. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and passionate about developing people and improving operational performance.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain training programs, modules, and materials for employees across various roles within modular construction. Deliver hands-on and classroom-style training focused on construction processes, safety practices, tools, and techniques. Serve as a mentor and coach to new and existing employees, providing guidance, feedback, and support to enhance performance. Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve programs based on feedback, performance metrics, and industry best practices. Create and manage training schedules, documentation, and tracking tools to ensure compliance and consistency. Collaborate with operations leadership to identify skill gaps and build targeted development plans. Research and integrate new training methods, technologies, and industry trends into programs. Promote a positive learning environment that encourages engagement, growth, and teamwork. Utilize computer systems and software to develop training content, track progress, and maintain records. Support onboarding efforts by delivering orientation and initial skills training for new hires. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation.
