Job Description
Overview A private athletic training facility in Waukee is seeking a full-time Athletic Development Coach to lead performance focused training for athletes. This role is ideal for a certified trainer with experience in strength and conditioning, speed and agility development, movement mechanics, and athlete recruitment. Duties
- Lead athletic performance group training sessions
- Coach Strength, speed, agility, and movement mechanics, and athlete recruitment
- Motivate athletes and provide performance focused instruction
- Recruit athletes and help grow participation
- Recruit athletes and help grow program participation
- Build relationships with athletes, families, schools, and local sports communities
- Maintain a safe, organized training environment Requirements
- Certified trainer required
- Experience in strength and conditioning, sports performance, or athletic development
- Ability to recruit athletes and support program growth
- Strong communication and relationship building skills Schedule
- Full time
- Summer hours: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Non summer hours: 2:00 PM-9:00 PM
- Hours vary based on season and training needs
Pay:
$25.98- $31.
