CURRENT MEMBERS OF 124TH SFS
Duties Help 1. Reviews all operions, mobility, contingency, and exercise plans to ensure comb readiness for the SF Squadron. Analyzes exercise and contingency plans to determine required SF actions in support of mission requirements. Evalues all equipment, manning and training requirements to meet wartime, contingency, deployment, and pre-planned tasking. Coordines with other base organizions on applicable plans. Manages the development of plans for deployment, disaster preparedness, base recovery, contingency response, and other reled plans. Prepares, updes, and reviews the SF portion of the base deployment, disaster preparedness, base recovery, contingency response, and reled plans. Coordines plans and annexes with SF supervisors. Inities changes, modificions, additions and deletions to personnel and equipment tasking and assignments through the SF Commander for approval. Identifies deficiencies develops, and implements plans for increasing mission readiness. Ensures the SF unit meets requirements for wartime capability and AEF requirements. 2. Responsible for proper security, classificion, and storage of classified documents. Compiles informion by identifying shortfalls and recommending corrective actions to Stus of Resources and Training System (SORT) monitor on the stus of SF personnel and training in all three classified reports. Serves as the alterne SORTs monitor. 3. Oversees the coordinion, review, and implemention of SF manning authorizions and military personnel assignments. Crees and implements the unit Force Management Plan for all Unit Type Code (UTC) teams as directed by MAJCOM. Recommends organizional change and identifies needs or problem areas. Inities operional and administrive actions in support of unit manning authorizions and coordines with base training, recruiting, and

Reviews Force Package and UTC posturing. Monitors personnel who are affected by Air Force (AF) Specialty conversion actions and makes team assignments. Implements change to the mobility requirements and resource roster. Monitors personnel readiness. Implements AOR Reporting Instructions and local directives for the establishment and management of AF Deployment Folders. 4. Serves as the SF commander's key staff member responsible for the overall management of the unit-training program by overseeing the planning, organizing, directing, opering, and evaluing all unit training reled items. Must make instant decisions and select a course of action under high stress conditions. Serves as a training consultant to all unit members and determines if quality-­training programs are in effect within all sections. Communices effectively, orally and in writing, to prepare and present briefings, coordines planning efforts and manages program activities. Implements and manages training programs, policies, and procedures, as directed by higher headquarters, commanders, and Base Training. Develops, manages, and conducts training in support of garrison and expeditionary mission requirements. Advises and assists commander and unit personnel in executing their training responsibilities. Prepares a budget to support training requirements and submits to unit commander. Develops and coordines training policy and program changes (including publicions, supplements, and opering instructions) with work centers, unit commander, and other training managers, as approprie. Advises the unit commander and supervisors of personnel skill level progression. Identifies training actions required to maintain unit comb readiness. Prepares and briefs the monthly Stus of Training report to the Unit Commander. Coordines and schedules personnel to tend USAF technical schools and other formal training. Coordines civilian training seminars, workshops, etc. Verifies eligibility of personnel requesting schools. Identifies, analyzes, forecasts, and submits formal school quotas and workday requirements. Serves as squadron program manager for Professional Military Educion. 5. Serves as the subject mter expert and consultant to the unit commander on all mters pertaining to the availability and management of the SF training program to meet the needs of the organizion and mission. Develops and coordines the implemention of the SF training plan. Establishes and coordines training classes and programs with units and reled base organizions. Coordines annual SF Home Stion Training, as well as, any required specialty training Regional Training Centers or other training sites. Establishes and updes SF automed dabase for training and trend analysis. Forecasts and coordines to ensure training resources are available. Performs other duties as assigned.
