$34.00 - $35.00 per hour Role Overview The Training & Development Specialist II delivers in?person and virtual training to employees across a broad range of audiences, including frontline staff through leadership levels. This role focuses on delivering pre?developed leadership and development content , while creating engaging, inclusive learning experiences and adapting delivery in real time based on participant needs. The position requires strong facilitation skills, the ability to manage diverse personalities in a workshop environment, and flexibility when handling unexpected situations during instruction and travel. Key Responsibilities Deliver inclusive, interactive workshops , adapting materials based on audience engagement and feedback. Facilitate virtual and in?person training sessions using existing curriculum. Collaborate with stakeholders and provide constructive feedback to enhance training programs using best practices and participant input. Manage program materials, training tools, and attendance records . Partner with departments to assess development needs and provide recommendations. Plan and coordinate venues, schedules, delivery methods, and travel logistics . Travel Requirements Up to 50% travel , primarily within Illinois and Iowa . Occasional travel may include additional U.S. locations. Must be willing to drive a personal vehicle for regional travel (within approximately 5 hours of base location). Mileage, gas, and approved travel expenses reimbursed. Minimum Qualifications 2-4 years of experience facilitating group or team?based discussions. 2-4 years of experience using virtual training platforms (e.g., Teams, Zoom). 1-3 years of experience leveraging AI and automation tools to develop content, streamline processes, or improve systems. Experience planning and coordinating training programs and event schedules . Demonstrated ability to facilitate strategic and challenging conversations , reframe discussion topics, and course?correct as needed. Preferred Qualifications Certifications and/or facilitation experience with: DDI - Targeted Selection Arbinger - Outward Mindset Everything DiSC (Workplace, Agile EQ, Management, Productive Conflict) CliftonStrengths (Gallup) Instructional Design experience Professional Mentoring experience ICF Coaching Certification #LI-MH1 #INDOEMSimilar remote jobs
