Bridgeview Eye Partners is looking for a Training Specialist who is energized by teaching, mentoring, and supporting team members in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in medical or Optometry who enjoys mentoring others and helping teams succeed. While optical training will be a primary focus, this position may also support and develop team members in Patient Services and Clinical Technician responsibilities, creating a well-rounded and collaborative learning experience across the organization.
Training Specialist Bridgeview Eye Partners Location:
Fort Wayne Regional Area Wage will be based on knowledge, skills, and experience What You Will Do Deliver engaging and effective training to new hires following established training materials and learning pathways Serve as a subject matter expert in Optical while helping team members learn the fundamentals of Patient Services and Clinical Technician responsibilities Support Practice Managers with ongoing staff development and continued education Provide consistent updates regarding employee training, progress and performance Conduct staff assessments during key phases of training Assist with efficiency and workflow improvement projects through cloud application software and resource development Partner with leadership and the training team to support educational events and development initiatives Promote a positive, professional, and team-focused learning environment What Makes This Opportunity Unique This role offers the opportunity to lead, coach, and inspire employees across multiple areas of the practice You will play a key role in shaping the employee's experience and supporting exceptional patient care Primary focus on Optical training with exposure to Patient Services and Clinical Technician operations for expanded professional growth A collaborative environment that values development, teamwork, and continuous learning Qualifications High school diploma required Experience in optometry or ophthalmology preferred Experience in Optical is a bonus and will serve as the primary training focus Training or coaching experience preferred Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while also supporting a collaborative team environment Proficiency in CompuLink software preferred Ability to adapt, motivate others, and thrive in a fast-paced environment Additional Information Regional travel and occasional travel outside the region may be required Flexible scheduling may be necessary based on training and operational needs At Bridgeview Eye Partners, we believe great patient care starts with great people.
