Job Description

We are seeking a Client Services Specialist to join our team! Core hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm! You will be responsible for conducting training and ongoing technical support for our customers. We are an electronic health records software company that specializes in serving jails, juvenile detention centers and prisons with their electronic medical record software needs. This position does require up to 25% travel, with most implementation trips being 5 days or less in length.
Essential Functions:
Work in a team environment to train correctional medical staff on the use of electronic medical record software and advise clients on improving workflow efficiency. (While shadowing nurses, inmates may be in the general vicinity.) Deliver software application training. Review and test electronic medical record templates and other customizations prior to client use. Act as client's advocate (and subject matter expert) when application changes/projects are proposed. Conduct all training preparation work including database, materials, travel request documents, and training environment for training sessions. Make recommendations for the development of teaching aids such as training manuals, job aids, and eLearning modules. Manage classes of 15 or less students. Provide technical support to new and existing clients. Document and update customer records based on interactions Troubleshoot and resolve issues and concerns Coordinate with appropriate departments as necessary to resolve/complete client issues. Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
An Associate degree is required, though a Bachelor degree is preferred, in training, computers, medical, or related field. Previous experience in customer service, training, medical, or other related fields Ability to build rapport with clients Positive and professional demeanor Extensive experience with computers; proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, & Outlook. Ability to learn and operate software programs quickly. Basic understanding of technical terminology. Previous training and implementation experience is preferred. Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team. Ability to plan, organize and prioritize effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Innovative and problem solving abilities. Strong interpersonal skills are critical.
