Workforce Development Mission:
The Mission of the Center for Workforce Development (CWD) at Roxbury Community College is to provide quality professional training for the residents of the Greater Roxbury and surrounding Boston metropolitan communities, training for new and incumbent workers, and customized training for employers to help them reach their workforce goals. We offer a variety of short-term, non-credit training courses during the day and evening hours, and on weekends.
General Summary:
The Center for Workforce Development (CWD) at Roxbury Community College invites applications for non-credit instruction. We are seeking qualified and passionate instructors to help expand our non-credit course offerings. Proposals are accepted on a rolling basis.

Job Description:
Instructors are responsible for providing high-quality instruction, assessing student outcomes, and maintaining current knowledge in their field. Responsibilities also include curriculum development and professional development.
Qualifications:
Relevant education, experience, and skills in the course subject Licenses or professional credentials, as applicable Strong classroom leadership and communication skills Ability to engage diverse learners using various teaching methods
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior teaching experience, especially in community colleges Experience with diverse student backgrounds Familiarity with online/hybrid teaching and audiovisual equipment Proficiency in
Microsoft Office and Outlook Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain a reliable schedule Assess student performance Keep accurate records in line with college policies Communicate effectively with CWD staff Update course descriptions and syllabi as needed
