Job Description This position plays a key role in the design, development, and management of PCC's early career rotational management development programs in the US and Canada including: Management Development Program (MDP) Finance/Accounting Development Program (FDP) Information Technology Development Program (IDP) Human Resources Development Program (HRDP) Industry 4.0 (Automation) Development Program (4DP) These programs are intended to develop the next generation of business leaders, strengthen our talent pipeline, and support the company's growth.Key Responsibilities Program Design and Management:
Align program content and structure with the company's current and future talent needs and long-term business strategy. Lead and direct program milestones from new hire orientation to graduation. Partner with business unit leaders and functional managers to plan tailored assignments aimed at developing the skills and competencies of each participant. Consult with HR Leadership to determine how the programs can address gaps in overall company talent. Manage budget responsibilities for the program and University Relations activities.Performance Management:
Responsible for hiring, leading, developing, and managing the performance of participants. In partnership with rotation supervisors, manage the performance of all program participants through regular performance reviews, feedback discussions, and improvement plans. Organize graduation process for post-program placement. Educate HR and plant staff on best practices in attracting program participants. Set up interviews, evaluate and approve offers, and ensure consistency in process. Provide career guidance to help participants identify appropriate post-program opportunities within their skillset and career goals.Learning and Development:
Identify and facilitate a wide variety of formal and informal learning solutions for functional and professional development. Lead the planning of off-site training events to include logistics, content, and learning goals. Track participant skills and competency development and adjust rotation experiences and goals to address any gaps.University Relations Program Management:
Lead and manage the University Relations team to develop long-term university relations strategies with targeted schools. Participate in on campus activities to attract students for internship, co-op, direct hire, and leadership development programs. Evaluate interview notes and conduct final interviews for all candidates recommended for hire. Assess the performance and overall effectiveness of each university on an annual basis. Review market data and conduct salary analysis to ensure competitiveness in total compensation.Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a human resource, business, or technical discipline Minimum 7+ years of experience with 2+ years in a leadership role Strong strategic thinking and ability to drive improvements to program design and recruiting campaigns Demonstrated ability to analyze data and trends to make recommendations to program enhancements Prior participation in campus recruitment activities / initiatives and interviewing Excellent project management skills, including prioritization and planning, resource coordination, time management, budgeting, and cost management Proven ability to coach and develop early career employees Previous leadership experience working in an industrial environment highly desired Excellent communication skills and ability to interact and influence with all levels of the organization, especially senior level executives Ability to prepare and conduct effective presentations Ability to travel up to 40% including international travel All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran. For informational purposes only, the range for annual base salary for this role is $135,000 to $155,000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Executive Bonus Plan, paid out up to 30% of the applicable annual base salary, based on the Company's performance in the prior calendar year. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan. This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To comply with those regulations, this position may require applicants to be U.S. Persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)), or eligible to obtain the required export authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or the U.S. Department of Commerce.
