Full Job Description Staff Development Coordinator Job Summary:
Christopher House, a 150-bed Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center located in Worcester, MA, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Staff Development Coordinator to join our dedicated team. As a Staff Development Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the ongoing growth and development of our staff, providing training and support to enhance patient care and overall facility operations.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement training programs for new hires and continuing education for existing staff Identify training needs and create tailored curriculum to address gaps in knowledge and skills Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff Maintain accurate records of training and employee development Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
Key Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on staff development and training Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks Must be an RN or LPN in good standing
