Job Description

Position Summary The Title Operations Training Specialist ensures consistent, compliant, and high-quality workflow execution across Eagle Title. This role designs and delivers structured training programs, supports new hire integration, strengthens team competencies, and reinforces standardized processes across operational functions (pre-processing, processing, post-closing, underwriting, and support roles). The position blends instructional design, process coaching, compliance alignment, and continuous improvement to support both individual performance and overall operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Training & Development
  • Lead structured onboarding and ongoing training for both remote and in‑person learners across branches.
  • Design engaging learning experiences (scenario-based practice, guided simulations, job shadowing, and LMS-enabled modules).
  • Create and maintain training materials, SOPs, job aids, checklists, workflows, and system guides to drive consistency.
  • Ensure all training content reflects company policies, ALTA Best Practices, underwriting guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., CFPB/RESPA).
  • Partner with HR (onboarding), IT (systems and access), and Operations leadership to ensure training infrastructure supports long‑term skill development.
  • Provide patient, individualized coaching and support for employees at all competency levels. Process Consistency & Compliance
  • Train teams on standardized workflows to ensure uniform execution across offices and functions.
  • Monitor adherence to procedures and provide real‑time corrective coaching when deviations occur.
  • Partner with Compliance, Accounting, and Operations to reflect current regulatory, financial, and documentation requirements in all materials.
  • Support audit readiness by reinforcing documentation accuracy, file completeness, and policy‑aligned task execution. Coaching & Support
  • Deliver structured 1:1 and small‑group coaching to build mastery in systems, processes, and product lines.
  • Administer skills assessments, identify gaps, and coordinate targeted retraining or refresher sessions.
  • Serve as a dependable subject‑matter resource for workflow clarification, system navigation, and procedural questions.
  • Provide constructive, actionable feedback focused on accuracy, consistency, quality, and productivity. Continuous Improvement
  • Establish feedback loops with trainees, managers, and leadership to refine training content and simplify workflows.
  • Track training completion, certification milestones, and competency progression using agreed-upon scorecards.
  • Support cross‑training to improve operational resiliency, promote internal mobility, and cultivate a flexible workforce. Qualifications Required
  • Demonstrated passion for training, mentoring, coaching, and employee development.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to break down complex processes into clear, structured, user‑friendly materials. Preferred
  • Background in adult learning, education, or instructional design.
  • Experience building SOPs, job aids, and assessments; familiarity with LMS tools.
  • Experience in the title industry, real estate services, mortgage operations, insurance, or other regulated, process‑driven industries. Working Details
Location:
Annapolis or Within Eagle Title's operating footprint; occasional travel to branch locations.

Schedule:

Compensation Range:
$65,000 - $80,000 annual base salary, commensurate with experience.
