Job Description

FUNCTION
Working under the Employee Development Manager, supports the career development of all Bank employees by assisting with the design, development, implementation, delivery and maintenance of key programs and initiatives that enhance the Employee Experience; assists with the delivery of training, skill and career development strategies, employee events and recognition; partners with Risk to ensure that the Bank is in compliance with local, state and federal regulations. The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys working with and in front of a diverse range of individuals while also being a cultural role model.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Employee Development Officer I Presents and facilitates a variety of Bank programs including, but not limited to; Teller Training, New Account Training, Consumer Lending, IMPACT, New Employee Orientations and 2nd Tier Orientation. Acclimates new hires to the Bank's Culture by providing exceptional internal customer service, serving as a role model with actions and behaviors that display our Experience and Shared Leadership commitments Uses appropriate technology and a variety of delivery channels for training, including Instructor-led, Online, Teleconference, and Web Maintains training/coaching materials through proactively reviewing to ensure content is updated and relevant to current practices and in compliance with industry and Bank standards Works with Subject Matter Experts to review and revise materials, communicating and distributing as needed Partners with Managers and Team Leads in assessing and identifying bank-wide educational needs, ensuring a process is in place to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of implementation aspects and job impact Serves as a project support for various projects or educational needs affecting the Employee or Customer Experience Able to proactively uncover needs of multiple business lines and comfortably design and deliver content Assists in ensuring that the Bank complies with local, state and federal regulations Engages in the implementation of key employee events including but not limited to Pizza Night Employee Development Officer II Meets all accountabilities of a Level I with the following additional accountabilities: Assesses trainees' understanding and progress, making any necessary changes to training programs Identifies future training needs and creates curriculum to facilitate that training Designs and develops clear and concise training/coaching materials and tools for employees Creates and facilitates internal communications, building interest and motivation for career development through communications and recognition May operate and maintain a train-the-trainer program for Certified Teller Trainers Exhibits the ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences and skill levels Effectively uses Learning Management Systems to gather, maintain, and report accurate statistics relating to assignments, course completion, and course registration, providing compliance reporting for auditing purposes Senior Employee Development Officer Meets all accountabilities of a Level I and Level II with the following additional accountabilities: Leads efforts on researching new training materials to enhance current training procedures and processes Communicates with and meets quarterly, at minimum, with key business partners to identify gaps in training processes, working collaboratively to create a solution Leads ongoing learning design, development, assessment and evaluation of learning programs to ensure alignment with Bank-wide strategies Develops e-Learning content that can be administered remotely in the absence of in-person training Partners with various Bank departments on creating an effective on-boarding program for new team members Serves as the lead contact for partnerships with external training vendors Takes the lead to offer project support for various projects or educational needs affecting the Employee or Customer Experience Assists with the creation of development plans for employees in support of the Bank's Strategic plan and succession planning initiatives

TEAMWORK, KNOWLEDGE/SKILL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or equivalent College, business, banking or professional training preferred Prior Consumer banking experience and/or lending preferred Prior training/public speaking/facilitating experience preferred Computer proficiency in MS Office applications Strong communications skills; verbal, written and interpersonal required Self-direction and strong organization and planning necessary Ability to operate independently and meet deadlines with limited supervision Ability to manage multiple projects, shifting priorities effectively and timely when needed Ability to gather and analyze data Accurate attention to detail Ability to exercise good judgement and initiative
PHYSICAL DEMANDS, CONDITION REQUIREMENTS & EQUIPMENT USED
General office environment Moderate lifting (to 35 lbs.) required Moderate reaching, walking, sitting and standing required Valid driver's license and availability to independently travel to various training location required External and internal applications, as well as position incumbents who become disabled, must be able to perform the essential functions (as listed) either unaided or with the assistance of a reasonable accommodation to be determined by management on an individual basis.
