Discipleship & Leadership Development The Leadership Training Lead executes leadership development training at APOC. This role equips individuals preparing to serve in leadership roles with the skills, character development, and leadership principles necessary to lead effectively within APOC's culture.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Leadership Training Lead will be responsible for the following:- Facilitate leadership training classes and cohorts.
- Guide leadership learning environments and ensure training remains engaging and practical.
- Prepare materials for leadership training sessions and maintain consistency across leadership development experiences.
- Support leaders in applying leadership principles in ministry settings.
- Coordinate with the Discipleship Pathway Lead to support movement from discipleship into leadership development.
TRAVEL DEMANDS
Occasional local travel may be required for trainings, retreats, or leadership development experiences.EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE A
Place of Change Ministry- Bachelor's degree preferred in Leadership, Ministry, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field; equivalent training/facilitation experience may be considered.
- 3+ years of experience preferred in training, facilitation, coaching, or leadership development.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate groups, communicate clearly, and translate principles into practical leadership behaviors.
COMPUTER / TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Comfort creating/distributing training materials and using presentation tools, email, and shared folders.
- Ability to coordinate cohort schedules, participant lists, and simple follow-up documentation.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Work is performed in a church/ministry environment during services, classes, meetings, and ministry events.
- Environment may include classrooms, lobby, auditorium, or small-group spaces.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- May include standing, walking, stair use, and light lifting/carrying of materials during ministry activities.
- Requires clear verbal communication and the ability to engage with participants and volunteers.
Pay:
