Summer Youth Development Staff Play. Lead. Inspire. Make Summer Unforgettable. The DAR Boys & Girls Club is looking for energetic, caring, and dependable team members to join our Summer Program Team! As a Summer Youth Development Staff member, you'll help create an exciting, active, and positive environment for kids throughout the summer months. Our summer staff will primarily work in the Gymnasium , leading games, sports, group activities, and recreational programming for children and teens. If you love staying active, encouraging kids, and making every day fun, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

What You'll Do:

Supervise and actively engage Club members during summer programming Lead organized games, sports, and physical activities in the gym Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, inclusion, and confidence Help create a fun, safe, and energetic atmosphere for kids ages 7-18 Build positive relationships and serve as a mentor to members Assist with setup, cleanup, and maintaining organized program spaces Participate alongside members in activities, competitions, and recreation

What We're Looking For:

Must be 18 years or older Passionate about working with youth Friendly, energetic, reliable, and positive Comfortable leading active games and sports programs Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to create a safe and encouraging environment for all members

Schedule:

Monday-Friday Summer Hours:

7:00 AM - 12:00 PM Approximately 20-25 hours per week
