Overview:
The Instructor is responsible for delivering high‑quality technical training focused on FANUC robotics, automation, and related technologies. The ideal candidate is energetic, customer‑focused, technically inclined, and able to communicate complex concepts clearly. This role blends hands‑on technical work with classroom instruction, curriculum development, and customer support. A strong desire to learn new skills—and then teach them to others—is essential.
Hours:
7:30am-4:30pm.
M-F Location:
FANUC Academy, 3900 W Hamlin Rd, Rochester Hills, MI Key Responsibilities Training Delivery Teach FANUC curriculum using structured instructional materials. Present PowerPoint‑based lessons with clear objectives and tasks. Follow detailed instructor outlines and provide student learning materials. Facilitate objective‑based exercises, including pre‑ and post‑testing. Use robots, simulators, and machine tools during instruction. Maintain a professional, engaging, and safe learning environment. Curriculum & Quality Improvement Report discrepancies between products and documentation to appropriate teams. Recommend improvements to course content and training materials. Collaborate with technical writers and fellow instructors to ensure consistency and project completion. Customer & Internal Support Provide technical support to customers and internal departments by answering questions and recommending solutions. Offer feedback to strengthen employee culture and customer experience. Travel to customer sites to deliver training as needed (up to 50%, including overnight and weekend travel). Required Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Engineering, or related technical field; or equivalent relevant experience. Understanding of basic electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic theory. Proficiency in reading electronic, electrical, and mechanical schematics. Ability to learn, understand, and write code programs. Ability to travel throughout the service area as required (50-75%)
Pay:
$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
