Technical Training Instructor responsible for delivering classroom, lab, field, and virtual training on Ag and Turf equipment, product systems, diagnostics, applications, and service technologies. Job Requirements Experience in training and development Experience with instruction, needs assessments, curriculum development, presentations, adult learning theory, or related areas Ability to use Microsoft Office applications Experience with department-specific programs such as ServiceAdvisor 5 or CCMS Ability to understand complex equipment systems Ability to travel domestically up to 25% Valid driver's license Ability to travel by plane across the United States Ability to rent a car for business travel Ability to operate farm machinery Ability to operate a forklift after required certification Bachelor's degree in Education, Agriculture, AgriBusiness, Communication, Agricultural Education, or related field preferred Equivalent related work experience accepted Preferred Skills Strong knowledge of agriculture equipment Precision technology experience 1 or more years of field experience with customer contact Product or dealer network experience 1 or more years of factory experience in design, engineering, or manufacturing interface 3 or more years of Field Service Technician experience 3 or more years of Agronomist experience 1 or more years of Service Manager experience Experience with technical diagnostics, machine optimization, product applications, or service technologies Experience developing or updating technical course materials Job Responsibilities Deliver technical classroom, lab, in-field, and virtual training Provide product training to dealers, employees, and customers Train participants on diagnosing, optimizing, selling, or managing Ag and Turf equipment Deliver training programs related to products, services, professional skills, product features, applications, and system technologies Set up lab, field, and classroom environments for training events Execute and tear down lab, field, and classroom training environments Present PowerPoint instruction and lab activities Lead diagnostic lab activities, including identifying and fixing machine issues Teach technician students in multi-day training classes Monitor training effectiveness using Net Promoter Score data Promote training programs to support class participation and training demand Research product systems, machine systems, and professional skills topics Expand subject matter expertise related to assigned training areas Collaborate with platform and training development staff to develop course materials Update course materials based on product, system, and training needs Operate farm machinery and forklift equipment to position equipment for classes and labs
Pay:
