We are seeking a part-time Training Coordinator . This position is a non-clinical position focused on training delivery, coordination, and compliance tracking. The Training Coordinator reinforces agency policies and procedures and supports knowledge-based competency validation but does not perform clinical competency evaluations or assess hands-on clinical skills. In-Office Duties and Responsibilities:
Onboarding & Orientation Delivery Facilitate consistent and effective onboarding experience for new team members. Deliver orientation and foundational training aligned with organizational standards and expectations. Ensure new hires are prepared to understand their role, responsibilities, and required training. Serve as a resource to employees regarding training requirements and completion expectations Represent and reinforce The CareAparent Way, ensuring training reflects the organization's standards for how employees show up and deliver care. Training Competency & Reinforcement Coordinate and support required training for employees based on role and regulatory requirements.
Present key topics such as:
Client rights and responsibilities, Compliance and ethics (e.g., abuse reporting, confidentiality), Safety and emergency procedures, Infection prevention (overview level), Reporting structure and expectations Ensure attendance and participation are documented. Reinforce agency policies, procedures, and expectations. Facilitate knowledge-based competency validation (e.g., quizzes, verbal review, scenario-based discussion) related to agency-specific policies and procedures. Assign and coordinate required LMS training based on staff role. Provide guidance on LMS navigation and completion expectations. Monitor and track completion of required training. Follow up with staff and supervisors on incomplete or overdue training. Training Compliance & Documentation Maintain accurate records of all orientation, training, and competency activities. Track compliance with required training and education. Generate reports on training completion and compliance status Ensure documentation is complete and available for audit or survey. Program Support Coordinate onboarding schedules with Human Resources. Collaborate with Compliance to ensure training aligns with regulatory requirements. Support updates to training materials as directed. Identify knowledge gaps and escalate training needs as appropriate.
Qualifications:
HS Diploma required, advanced degree preferred 2-4 years of experience in training, onboarding, staff education, or coordination required Experience with LMS platforms or training tracking systems preferred Strong presentation and facilitation skills Organizational and time management skills Ability to track and manage training compliance Attention to detail and documentation accuracy Ability to deliver structured training in a clear and engaging manner CareAparent is an Equal Opportunity Employer and qualified applicants will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, disability or veteran status.
