General Summary Working independently, the Training and Development Specialist will plan, create and administer training programs for Leadership and Staff. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develops, compiles, produces and delivers educational materials for department programs and service excellence workshops. Design, develop and maintain eLearning courses company-wide. Manages the Community Line by registering employees and community members for classes. Facilitates the delivery of education programs by ensures learning content matches learning objectives and company values. Facilitates BLS Healthcare Provider courses and skills checks. Produces video presentations for eLearning curriculum from live training sessions. Assists with computer-based learning system, including adding, deleting, or updating computer-based learning modules. Monitors course completion by employees, inputs education information into system. Communicates system changes to management and staff as required. Education Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Public Relations, Education or Business required. Advanced Microsoft program knowledge including Power Point and Excel required. Knowledge & experience in Adobe programs. Knowledge of Articulate 360 software preferred. Work Experience One year in an instructor/trainer type role required. Three years of experience in the healthcare environment preferred. Certification/License Basic Life Support Instructor certification to be obtained within the first 6 months to assist with BLS skill checks. Mental/Physical Requirements Considerable mental concentration on various projects and assignments. Standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 15 lbs. Ability to concentrate, pay close attention to detail and perform job duties under time restrictions. Some traveling is required. Working Conditions Standard office conditions.
