Career Development Specialist - ( 26141565 ) The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Child Support Services. The Child Support Services Division (CSSD) establishes and enforces the financial and medical support obligations of parents in support of their children. Qualifications for this Career Opportunity Knowledge of child support program. Knowledge of training and career development principles and practices. Knowledge of adult learning and e-learning. Knowledge of organizational assessment methodologies. Skill in researching and developing training curriculum and e-learning models. Skill in planning, organizing, facilitating, or presenting training. Ability to make decisions that are aligned with the goals of the division. Ability to evaluate performance and make recommendations. Ability to operate a personal computer and general office equipment as necessary to complete essential functions, including using spreadsheets, word processing, database, email, internet, and other computer programs such as Access, PowerPoint, Project, Publisher, SharePoint, and Moodle.
Meet minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, human services with a concentration that is directly related to public administration or a closely related field of study. Four years of case management or training development experience or other job-related work experience with duties that include complex analysis and decision making and/or solving complex client service problems. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Additional Information This position may be eligible for partial telework within the state of Montana. Specific conditions will be provided by the supervisor and must adhere to state policy. This position may be eligible for a statutory $1.00 an hour base pay increase effective July 1, 2026.
