Training Supervisor __ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for implementing theABB GROW
Model Learning System for hourly manufacturing team members and plays a key role in supporting the Learning and Development team by executing the site's L&D plan. The training role is expected to evaluate work processes for potential improvements, ensure compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements related to training, and apply effective instructional techniques to enhance learning outcomes. It is essential that the trainer demonstrates strong teaching practices and maintains a continuous improvement mindset throughout all training activities. The work model for the role is: Onsite at the Pinetops, NC facility. You will be mainly accountable for: Role models and supports a culture that holds team members accountable for adhering to their training and development schedule per the training plan. Manages training processes for manufacturing team members by developing training content and facilitating focused on the job training to ensure team members can perform job functions to meet or exceed ABB standards on Safety, Quality and Operations. Acts and works safely; encourages safe practices and holds others accountable for safety. Serves as subject matter expert for completion of Job Specific Training (JST) documentation for the site learning and development plan. Communicates professionally with team members regularly regarding training performance, expectations, development needs, strengths, and areas of focus. Role models a high work ethic and expects the same from team members. Exhibits an approach to daily routines which is consistent from day to day to promote operational discipline and effective operations. Exhibits a strong understanding of service and product quality. Qualifications for the role High School Diploma or GED Required. Minimum of 5 years' experience in Manufacturing. Must be skilled and show expert proficiency on all respective manufacturing processes. Work effectively with limited supervision. Must be self-motivated with a high level of engagement. Ability to collaborate with multiple departments and work teams. Experience in dealing with the cultural diversity of a global business environment. Prior Experience in Manufacturing as a Trainer is a plus. Candidates must already have a work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the United States.
