Youth Development Professional

Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and emotional well-being. Provide homework help to youth. Supervise children during various activities including arts and crafts, sports, and outdoor play to ensure safety at all times. Provide first aid and emergency response when necessary, adhering to safety protocols. Support children with varying needs by adapting activities. Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and community partners to encourage ongoing engagement. Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and incident reporting to support program accountability. Qualifications 18 years old or older Pass Background Check Certification in first aid and CPR (Or able to obtain within 3 months of hiring) Must be able to assist youth with homework from grades K - 11th Ability to effectively communicate with children, parents, and team members in a respectful manner. Preferred experience in childcare Passion for working with youth and a commitment to fostering their growth through engaging activities. Must be able to occasionally lift upwards of 40lbs
