Job Description

Talascend is currently seeking an Environmental Safety and Health Trainer for a contract opportunity with our client in Winnemucca , Nevada . Overview The project safety trainer will be responsible for delivering training programs and materials in a construction environment, supporting the development and implementation of craft training, and overseeing safety and skill assessments across multiple locations. Responsibilities Collaborate with ES&H and construction groups on developing, revising, and implementing craft training programs Coordinate skills verification, apprentice mentoring, and identify and address skill gaps Supervise project trainers and craft evaluators Guide craft trainers and evaluators for training all levels of craft personnel, including forepersons and general forepersons Oversee capability assessments of direct hire craft personnel Manage project training facility layout, resource allocation, setup, and maintenance Participate in the selection of evaluators and trainers Coordinate and monitor classes, instructors, facilities, class schedules, and participant evaluations Collect, analyze, and report training data to site and labor relations management Perform other duties as assigned within personal capability Qualifications Bachelor's degree or international equivalent 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience OSHA 30 certification Experience developing core training curriculum for construction or related industries Proven experience delivering industry safety training and orientation programs Ability to develop skills of junior trainers and ES&H representatives Previous construction trades experience is advantageous Valid US driver's license for delivering training at multiple locations We thank all applicants for their interest.
