Training Manager Position Summary The Training Specialist plays a vital role in advancing the mission of Quality Moments by ensuring staff are fully prepared to deliver high-quality, client-centered services. This position is responsible for facilitating new hire onboarding, delivering training on client engagement and documentation practices, and ensuring compliance with agency standards. The Training Specialist partners with Human Resources, clinical leadership, and district managers to design and implement effective learning experiences aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires on their first day, facilitating orientation and onboarding activities. Deliver engaging training sessions on agency policies, procedures, documentation standards, and client engagement strategies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records, including attendance and completion tracking. Ensure training content aligns with regulatory standards and agency expectations. Stay informed on behavioral health best practices, documentation requirements, and adult learning methodologies. Collaborate with leadership to identify training needs and support continuous learning initiatives. Promote professional development and ongoing skill enhancement across the organization. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Director or designee. Qualifications Experience in education, behavioral health, social services, or a related field preferred. Demonstrated ability to effectively engage adult learners in educational or therapeutic settings. Strong knowledge of behavioral health documentation standards (e.g., progress notes, treatment plans). Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to present information clearly in group settings and adapt training methods to diverse learning styles. Proficiency in modern training tools and platforms, including virtual learning environments. Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Additional Requirements Willingness to travel and work evenings or weekends as needed; overnight travel may be required. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance meeting state minimum requirements. • Successful completion of criminal background and motor vehicle record checks.• Ability to present information clearly in group settings and adapt training methods to diverse learning styles. Proficiency in modern training tools and platforms, including virtual learning environments. Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Additional Requirements Willingness to travel and work evenings or weekends as needed; overnight travel may be required. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance meeting state minimum requirements.
