Develop, plan, manage, and evaluate the training offered through Adult Career Development, which is responsible for ICTC's evening and online programs for adults. Plan/oversee daily operations & continuous improvement efforts. Manage support staff. Hire & manage adjunct instructors. Ensure that career-focused training programs meet state certification mandates by managing curriculum development/update, documentation, & reporting requirements for agencies that include the Oklahoma State Department of Health, Department of Public Safety, CLEET, & Construction Industries Board. Provide the necessary academic and organizational support to expand the ACD Stilwell program and sustain continuous improvement withinACD. QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
Associates or minimum of three (3) years successful work experience in adult education or a technology center and working towards an associate (six college credit hour per year required until an associate degree is conferred) degree required, Bachelor degree preferred (MT:

Bachelor Degree).EXPERIENCE
Three (3) years in Business and Industry Training, Adult Education (which may include teaching, planning, administration or curriculum design) or a technology center preferred.SKILLS:
Administrative and organizational skills, ability to collaborate and work in teams and maintain a high degree of professionalism and project a positive image.OTHER:
Knowledge of career and technical education and adult training. Ability to maintain accurate records multi-task. Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and GSuite Products (Gmail, GDrive). Ability to learn and use new technologies to improve efficiency and collaboration.DEPENDABILITY
Regular attendance following designated work schedule. Must be able to work extended hours and additional evenings and weekends as required by position responsibilities. Must be able to participate in meetings and conferences as scheduled within the district, state and other states.PHYSICAL/MENTAL STANDARDS
Ability to read and comprehend a variety of written documents, regulations, and reference material. Ability to meet and confer with individuals and groups concerning a variety of subjects including confidential matters. Ability to deliver information and instructions in logical, sequential order. Ability to sit for long periods and to move quickly around the campus. Requires lifting, handling and carrying of such articles as boxes, manuals, files. AV equipment and related items.EMOTIONAL EFFORT

1. Assess ACD needs using appropriate tools and processes. 2. Coordinate ACD programs, including development, implementation, delivery, evaluation, and revision within established guidelines. 3. Develop and implement marketing plans that promote ACD to increase program awareness and meet district educational needs. 4. Supervise and administer ACD programs and functions adhering to district policies and established program guidelines. 5. Facilitate planning to determine program direction that aligns with customer needs and market demands. 6. Recruit, select, develop and evaluate adult education instructors to maintain and /or increase program quality and effectiveness. 7. Work cooperatively with internal and external customers to offer and deliver quality programs that align with market needs. 8. Research and integrate progressive learning technologies into ACD delivery systems that enhance learning and increase productivity. 9. Maintain involvement in community activities to understand labor trends. 10. Select or develop training programs for ACD. 11. Match identified training needs with existing resources. 12. Customize training when needed. 13. Plan and budget resources for approval by Superintendent or other authorities. 14. Supervise the availability of training resources, curriculum materials, instructors, space, time or equipment. 15. Assure that all ACD and training records or reports are completed in a timely manner. 16. Coordinate with campus staff in the management of space, time, and curriculum where appropriate. 17. Maintain professional competence through participation in staff development, in-service education activities, and selected professional growth programs. 18. 1. Perform other duties as assigned by the superintendent or Director of Adult Workforce Development. 2. Uphold and enforce the rules and regulations of the Board of Education and administration. 3. Develop program goals and objectives that are consistent with the philosophy, goals, and mission of the school.RELATIONSHIPS
EXTERNAL:
1. Liaison with local chamber of commerce, economic development organizations, local business and industry, and other appropriate agencies. 2. Develop and maintain a close working relationship with the State Department of Career and Technology Education staff.INTERNAL
