Cybervance combines advanced cybersecurity expertise with proven federal contracting experience to deliver innovated, mission-focused solutions for U.S. Government agencies. We are committed to helping our partners achieve measurable improvements in security and resilience. We are seeking a full-time Training and Awareness Specialist who will be charged with building upon the current Training and Awareness Program and provide a cybersecurity awareness program consistent with NIST SP 800-50r, incorporating industry best practices. Responsibilities Incorporate existing phishing simulation tool, KnowBe4, to execute monthly campaigns and integrate the campaign results into the overall training and awareness program. Develop annual, role-based, and ad hoc training modules. Track participation, provide metrics, and deliver quarterly or monthly reports on program effectiveness and areas for improvement, as applicable. Coordinate the annual Cybersecurity Awareness Month activities each October in collaboration with the Office of Chief Information Officer's program and teams. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or other related field. Experience in Instructional System Design (ISD) and graphic design. Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to translate technical concepts, practices, and policies into impactful, simple to understand learning topics. Proactive and creative approach to solving problems and when developing training and communication materials. Strong visual design skills to support clear and impactful presentations and training materials. Visual design tools (PowerPoint, Articulate, Photoshop, Canva) and ability to storyboard. Communication, training, presentation, and facilitation experience. Experience with digital learning platforms and blended learning approaches. Experience successfully implementing training projects within a U.S. federal government agency or similarly large organization with a diverse and matrixed organization. Project management experience resulting in on-schedule performance; project reporting to keep stakeholders informed. Detail-oriented and dedicated to upholding established governance and quality standards. Must have excellent written and presentation skills.
