Job Description
Key Responsibilities Case Management & Counseling :
Provide individualized career counseling to develop and guide participants through customized service plans and career pathways.Barrier Reduction:
Assist participants in overcoming employment barriers (childcare, transportation, documentation) by coordinating with AW Resource Navigators and partner agencies.Eligibility & Intake :
Determine program eligibility, collect required documentation, and assist in the outreach and recruitment of new participantsJob Readiness & Placement:
Facilitate workshops on resume development, cover letters, and interview strategies. Conduct mock interviews and connect participants with work-based learning and employer referrals.Post-Employment Retention:
Provide post-employment coaching to ensure long-term job retention and career advancement.Data Compliance:
Ensure timely and accurate entry of case notes and participant data into digital management systems to support audit readiness and grant compliance.Performance Reporting:
Monitor participant progress at least monthly; collaborate with leadership to prepare performance reports and suggest program improvements to meet the project's goal.Partner Collaboration:
Coordinate with training providers and employer partners to support participant success in Individual Training Account (ITA) related activities.Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in human services, business, education, training, etc., or equivalent work experience. 2. Previous experience in customer service, case management, or workforce development. 3. Demonstrated competence in written, verbal, and telephone communication. 4. Working knowledge of MS Windows, Word, and Excel; ability to navigate complex digital data management systems. 5. Ability to maintain flexibility as the needs of the federal contract or the community evolve. Spanish fluency is preferred.Competencies:
