The chosen candidate/s need to be based in Boston and travel to events and client/potential client sites will be a regular occurrence in this opportunity. This would be a Mon-Fri traditional office hours role with the ability to work from home as well (one day a week in office). They are open to seeing profiles from people with various tenures from a few years of experience to a professional looking for a senior level sales position in a start up like environment.
Qualifications Include:
Bachelors Degree is required and they will look at senior level PhDs as well looking to transition into a sales/customer facing role 1-8 years of working experience in gene editing and gene therapy biotech companies Strong technical background and understanding of the cell and gene therapy industry Background in biology, immunology, oncology or related disciplines is required Proven track record of successful business development and sales experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and key opinion leaders Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team Willingness to travel as neededKey Responsibilities Include:
Develop and execute strategies for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with key players in the cell and gene therapy industry Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and key opinion leaders in the field Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and opportunities for growth Provide input on product development strategies and collaborate closely with R D teams to ensure that our products meet the needs of our customers Negotiate and close deals with customers and partners, including licensing agreements and collaborations Represent the company at industry events and conferences If interested in this direct hire Business Development openings with a great benefits package and a total comp upwards of ranging anywhere from $90-200K depending upon base/experience level, please contact JMT Staffing Solutions at 781-558-2589 or respond back this ad and a staffing manager will provide more details.
