EdCo (Education Collaborative of Western New York) About EdCo and Kinvera EdCo is a collaborative, educational nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting schools, educators, students, and community partners through innovative programming, professional learning, and strategic partnerships. Kinvera is our online professional learning ecosystem where educators, schools, nonprofits, and community experts can connect and grow. As Kinvera continues to expand, EdCo is seeking a highly motivated, relationship-driven Implementation and Training Specialist to support educators, schools, and organizations through onboarding, training, implementation, and ongoing platform success. Position Overview The Implementation and Training Specialist will serve as the key point of contact for schools, organizations, creators, and learners using Kinvera. This role blends customer success, training, instructional support, and digital learning development to ensure users have a seamless and impactful experience. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with strong customer service instincts, experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS), and the ability to create engaging asynchronous training content. This individual should be comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and passionate about helping organizations effectively utilize technology for learning and growth. Key ResponsibilitiesPlatform Implementation & Onboarding
  • Lead onboarding and implementation for new Kinvera partner organizations
  • Guide schools and organizations through platform setup, course organization, and user adoption
  • Develop implementation timelines, onboarding plans, and support documentation
  • Ensure a smooth transition from initial onboarding to long-term platform use Training & User Support
  • Deliver virtual training sessions for content creators, administrators, educators, and learners
  • Provide timely, professional, and solution-oriented customer support
  • Troubleshoot platform and user issues while coordinating with technical partners as needed
  • Build strong relationships with partner organizations through proactive communication and support Asynchronous Learning & Content Development
  • Design and develop asynchronous onboarding and training modules
  • Create user-friendly support materials, including tutorials, guides, videos, and FAQs
  • Support the creation and organization of online courses within the Kinvera platform
  • Apply instructional design best practices to improve learner engagement and usability Customer Experience & Continuous Improvement
  • Gather user feedback to identify opportunities to improve the customer experience
  • Monitor onboarding and support trends to inform platform improvements and training strategies
  • Collaborate with the EdCo team on new initiatives, feature rollouts, and platform enhancements
  • Contribute to the growth and scalability of Kinvera support systems and resources QualificationsRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard, Absorb, Google Classroom, or similar platforms
  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills
  • Experience creating asynchronous or online learning content
  • Excellent writing, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment
  • Comfort facilitating virtual trainings and meetings Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in K-12 education, nonprofit organizations, educational technology, or professional learning environments
  • Background in instructional design, digital learning, or online course development
  • Experience in customer onboarding, implementation, or client success roles
  • Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive practices in online learning environments

Compensation & Benefits:
