About the Role Emergicon is seeking a Revenue Cycle Trainer to lead the development and delivery of training programs across all revenue cycle functions. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our teams are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and processes needed to perform at a high level while maintaining compliance and accuracy. The ideal candidate is both a subject matter expert in revenue cycle operations and a skilled educator who can translate complex processes into practical, easy-to-follow training.

Full-Time, Exempt What You'll Do Training & Development Design and deliver structured onboarding programs for new hires across coding, billing, cash posting, AR, and patient accounts Provide ongoing training on process updates, system changes, and performance improvement opportunities Develop SOPs, job aids, and reference materials to standardize workflows Performance & Quality Improvement Analyze operational data to identify errors, denials, and process gaps Translate findings into targeted, measurable training programs Partner with leadership to improve accuracy, reduce rework, and shorten ramp-up time Operational & Client Support Support new client onboarding and operational rollouts Prepare staff for system implementations and process changes Ensure training supports company goals for clean claims, reduced denials, and accurate AR Compliance Deliver training aligned with HIPAA, OIG, and Fraud, Waste & Abuse requirements Maintain documentation of training completion for audit readiness What You'll Need Required Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent experience 5+ years of revenue cycle experience Strong understanding of the full revenue cycle including coding, billing, cash posting, AR/denials, and patient accounts Ability to clearly explain complex processes to employees at different experience levels Experience creating SOPs, job aids, or training materials Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field EMS or ambulance billing experience Certification such as CPC, CAC, or similar Prior training or instructional design experience Experience with denial management and root cause analysis What Success Looks Like High-quality onboarding with faster new hire readiness Improved accuracy and reduction in recurring errors Consistent, up-to-date SOPs and training materials Strong cross-training participation and employee development Measurable improvements in revenue cycle performance Why Join Emergicon This is a newly dedicated role designed to bring consistency, structure, and scalability to training across the organization.
