Los Angeles Hybrid (70% Onsite / 30% Remote)

Local Candidates Only We are seeking an experienced IT Training Specialist to support training and education initiatives for newly implemented healthcare technology applications. This role will be responsible for delivering end-user training, creating instructional materials, supporting post-implementation stabilization, and driving successful adoption of clinical and business applications. This is an excellent opportunity for a training professional with strong healthcare IT experience and hands-on knowledge of Cerner clinical applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver virtual and in-person training sessions for healthcare technology applications Develop and facilitate classroom, webinar, and computer-based training programs Create self-paced learning content including videos, job aids, quick reference guides, and participant manuals Support post-implementation optimization and remediation training Assess training needs through user feedback, surveys, and stakeholder consultations Schedule and coordinate training sessions, resources, and classroom availability Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements Assist with troubleshooting intermittent application and workflow issues Partner with project teams to support system implementations and end-user adoption Maintain current knowledge of healthcare technology and training best practices.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field 2-3+ years of IT training experience in a healthcare environment Strong experience with Cerner clinical applications Experience supporting both Ambulatory and Inpatient workflows Proven experience delivering virtual and instructor-led classroom training Strong instructional design and training documentation development skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Visio Experience creating training guides, job aids, and quick reference materials Ability to understand and translate clinical/business workflows into training content
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Snagit Experience writing eLearning scripts Knowledge of ServiceNow, Kronos, or Lawson Experience in large-scale implementation/go-live project environments
