  • Corpus Christi, Texas The Role at a Glance The Manufacturing Assistance Wage Agency Instructor coordinates, prepares, and delivers Lean, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and maintenance training in the areas of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
This position provides training throughout the State of Texas to a wide range of audiences, including technicians, managers, and executives in manufacturing, commercial, and government organizations. The instructor delivers courses that focus on proven strategies and techniques designed to help organizations improve operational performance. Leveraging a solid understanding of adult learning theories and learning styles, the instructor ensures effective knowledge transfer and promotes learner success. This role also utilizes a variety of media and instructional methods to present course materials and contributes to curriculum development efforts to maintain course relevance and meet customer needs. This position reports to the Program Director. Qualifications of the Role Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Five years of experience in engineering or manufacturing. One year of experience in adult education and/or training of lean manufacturing tools. Must have a valid motor vehicle operator's license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
Equivalency:
Will accept an associate's degree and seven years of experience in engineering or manufacturing or a high school diploma and nine years of experience in engineering or manufacturing. Must also have one year of experience in adult education and/or training of lean manufacturing tools.
