As a Technical Trainer for Trailer and Refrigeration Systems, you will leverage your deep industry knowledge to shape the next generation of skilled professionals, ensuring they master essential repair and diagnostic techniques in a hands-on environment. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive instruction on chassis, trailer, and transport refrigeration system maintenance within a professional lab setting. Demonstrate industry-standard diagnostic procedures and safety protocols to ensure students develop high-quality technical habits. Guide students through complex mechanical troubleshooting tasks, fostering both technical proficiency and professional confidence. Maintain an organized, compliant, and safe training facility that mirrors real-world shop expectations. Evaluate student performance and provide actionable feedback to support their development into career-ready technicians. Utilize your field experience to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical, on-the-job application. Qualifications Required Skills Extensive professional experience in chassis, trailer, or refrigerated container repair. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to clearly explain complex system diagnostics. Commitment to maintaining a safety-first, professional learning environment. Ability to obtain a TWIC card for site access. Flexibility to travel regionally to support various training initiatives. Preferred Skills Dual expertise in both refrigerated transport systems and heavy-duty trailer maintenance. Hands-on experience with diesel generators and welding techniques. Familiarity with IICL, FMCSA, and DOT compliance standards. Current EPA 608 certification. Prior experience in a mentorship or leadership capacity within a technical trade.
