About the Role We are seeking a skilled Technical Trainer specializing in composite materials to join our team. In this role, you will develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to enhance our manufacturing capabilities. Your expertise in composite lamination and fabrication will be crucial in ensuring high-quality production and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Design and refine a hands-on training program focused on composite materials and processes, ensuring alignment with quality and safety standards. Create detailed instructional content, including work instructions, visual aids, and practical exercises, to facilitate effective learning. Conduct engaging training sessions that cover composite lamination, layup techniques, and process controls, resulting in improved skill sets across the team. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to identify training needs and ensure program effectiveness, leading to enhanced operational efficiency. Analyze existing processes to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that enhance quality, repeatability, and efficiency in composite manufacturing. Support First Article Inspections (FAI) and production scaling initiatives by providing expert guidance and training, contributing to smooth and successful project launches. Qualifications Required Skills 10+ years of practical experience in composite lamination within a manufacturing setting. Demonstrated ability to develop standardized work instructions and skills progression frameworks. In-depth knowledge of composite materials, layup techniques, and process controls. Proven experience in developing and delivering structured training sessions. Preferred Skills Certifications in composites lamination (e.g., ACMA, NADCAP). Experience with Lean methodologies and continuous improvement principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
