Job Alerts Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field and one-year related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
American Heart Association (AHA) Instructor certification preferred.
Job Summary:
To provide a variety of training activities for employees at the University of Texas Medical Branch.
Job Duties:
Plans, organizes, implements, and evaluates continuing educational programs, skills training and management development programs for employees. Assists departments in determining training needs and makes recommendations concerning these needs. Maintains records and reports, such as EEO statistics on employee attendance and completion of training activities. Coordinates use of community educational resources for employee development. Assists departments in providing specialized in-service programs. Supervises classes of other training specialists. Adheres to internal controls established for department. Performs related duties as required.
Salary Range:
Commensurate with experience.
