Player Development Professional

Overview The Golf Club of Houston is seeking a motivated and passionate Golf Coach to deliver high-quality instruction to players of all skill levels. This role focuses on player development, growing participation in golf programs, and creating an exceptional learning experience. The position combines technical coaching, customer service, and program development. Experience Required PGA or LPGA Professional certification (or actively working toward certification) preferred Proven experience coaching golfers across a range of skill levels Strong knowledge of full swing, short game, and course management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to engage and inspire junior and beginner golfers Strong organizational and time management abilities Essential Responsibilities Provide individual and group instruction for juniors, adults, and beginner golfers Develop customized lesson plans based on each player's skill level and goals Analyze swing mechanics and deliver clear, actionable feedback Lead clinics, camps, and player development programs (e.g., junior leagues) Actively promote and grow coaching programs through member engagement and outreach Maintain a safe, organized, and professional practice environment Track player progress and provide ongoing coaching support
