Contract (2-4 Weeks) Experience•Minimum 5 Years About the Role We are expanding our dessert café into coffee, breakfast, and light lunch offerings and are looking for an experienced Menu Development Consultant to design a simple, fast, and high-margin menu . This role is focused on practical execution —creating a menu that works efficiently in a no-vent / limited kitchen setup while maintaining speed, consistency, and profitability. Project Objective Develop a scalable café/QSR-style menu (15-20 items) that: Can be executed in under 3-4 minutes per item Requires minimal training and low skill dependency Delivers strong margins and operational efficiency Fits within a no-vent, compact kitchen environment Key Responsibilities Menu Development Design a 15-20 item menu , including: Coffee & beverage program Breakfast items (toast, light bites) Lunch items (wraps, sandwiches, bowls) Operational Simplicity Ensure menu items are quick to assemble and easy to replicate Minimize complexity in prep and execution Standardize ingredients to reduce inventory load Deliverables Simple, standardized recipes (SOP-based) Prep plan (daily & weekly workflows) Equipment recommendations (no-vent compatible) Staff training guidelines (quick onboarding) Success Criteria Fast execution time ( ≤ 3-4 minutes per item ) High contribution margins Minimal operational bottlenecks Easy staff training and scalability Efficient use of limited space and equipment ✅ Qualifications Proven experience developing menus for cafés, QSR, or dessert concepts Having minimum 5 years of experience. Strong understanding of fast-service operations and workflow optimization Experience working with limited or no-vent kitchen setups Ability to balance speed, cost, and simplicity in menu design Portfolio or examples of previous menu development projects ❗ Important Note We are looking for simple, scalable, and operationally efficient menu design . This is not a fine-dining or chef-driven concept —focus is on speed, consistency, and profitability .
