Job Description

- Kodiak understands that our most valuable resource is our employees, and in order to provide industry-leading service and runtime, you must attract and retain premier talent.
- Design training classes and develop training content based on input from various functions
- Stay up to date with changing compressor technology, including electrical updates, panel updates, and any mechanical updates due to changing ESG regulations and Kodiak initiatives
- Subject matter expert for specific compressor package components
- Identify technical training gaps throughout organization and develop content to address gaps
- Work alongside an instructional designer to determine the best approaches for each technical training class, accounting for the intended audience to ensure adult learning methods are integrated and hands-on class activities validate learning
- Stay up to date on new training methods and proactively research teaching techniques
- Attain post-training feedback for review and update class content accordingly
- Develop technical assessments to ensure successful knowledge transfer and skill competency for each training class objective.
- Maintain the completion records for training participants, by ensuring timely and accurate attendance and grading records are maintained within the Kodiak LMS
- Maintain and manage training equipment
- Travel required 50-75% of the time Education, Experience and Training
- This role requires in-depth knowledge of the oilfield and all aspects of compressor mechanics. The ideal candidate has 5-10 years of experience in Operations of the gas compression industry and demonstrates a passion for continued learning.
- Additionally, the successful candidate should bring proven experience of: o Organizational skills required to streamline highly technical content into manageable portions of information.
- Over 5 years proven experience as a technical trainer in the gas compression industry.
- High school diploma required, Bachelor's Degree in Education or related discipline is a plus.
