Temple College is seeking qualified industry professionals to serve as Adjunct Industrial Trainers supporting Construction Technology Workforce Programs under the TRUE Grant initiative. This position delivers classroom and hands-on instruction in Construction Management, Electrical, Plumbing, and/or HVAC systems. This program is grant-funded.
Qualifications (Required and Preferred)
Associates degree or Industry credential/license in Construction, Electrical, Plumbing, or HVAC
Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience
Hands-on technical experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree or higher Teaching or training experience Job Duties and Responsibilities Instruction & Training Delivery- Deliver classroom and hands-on instruction in the assigned subject area
- Utilize industry-based curriculum (NCCER or equivalent)
- Demonstrate proper use of tools, equipment, and safety procedures
- Maintain lesson plans and instructional materials Student Support & Success
- Provide coaching and support to students
- Monitor progress and provide feedback
- Support retention and completion
- Reinforce professionalism and safety practices Program Collaboration
- Collaborate with Program Lead and instructors
- Participate in curriculum updates and meetings
- Assist with outreach and recruitment Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with policies and safety standards
- Maintain accurate student records
- Promote a safe learning environment
