Mission Assurance Policy, Training, and Exercise Specialist The Mission Assurance Policy, Training, and Exercise Specialist provides integrated policy development, training, and exercise support to the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery N45 Mission Assurance Office. This position combines strategic policy analysis with emergency management training and exercise planning, execution, and evaluation functions. The role supports development of standard operating procedures, concepts of operations, implementation plans, training materials, and after-action reports. In this role you will.... Draft, review, and update mission assurance and emergency management policies, standard operating procedures, and concepts of operations Develop training materials for watchstanders, Crisis Action Team members, security staff, and Federal Coordinating Center personnel Plan, coordinate, and evaluate tabletop, functional, and full-scale exercises Develop exercise planning packages and after-action reports Support interagency coordination, meeting documentation, and action tracking Additional duties as assignedExperience Requirements:
Minimum five (5) years of experience supporting federal or Department of Defense policy development, emergency management training, or exercise programs Demonstrated experience serving as an action officer, policy analyst, or exercise planner Strong written and oral communication skills.Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in public policy, Emergency Management, Homeland Security, National Security Studies, or a related discipline OR ten (10) years of relevant personnel security experience in lieu of a degreeDesired Requirements:
Prior experience supporting: Navy Medicine, Defense Health Agency, or Department of Defense headquarters policy efforts Emergency management or mission assurance programs Familiarity with: Navy staffing, coordination, and policy approval processes Federal Coordinating Center and Patient Reception Station plansHSEEP/JELC
experience Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program training Federal Emergency Management Agency Incident Command System training Experience developing training curricula and exercise documentation in accordance with federal standardsSecurity Clearance Requirements:
