Job Description

Everforth ECS Federal is seeking aTraining Specialistto work in ourStafford, VAoffice.

The Training Specialist will support the DMSS program by providing training specialist expertise to a Scrum Team tasked with delivering complex training curricula that translate functional enhancements into user knowledge for the CODIS system.
Responsibilities:
Analyze complex software enhancements to determine the best training approachDesign and Develop training materials the ensure the best user learning experienceAssist in the Implementation and Evaluation of training materials to ensure they are validUpdate training materials across various training and knowledge base learning platformsCollaborate with other teams to understand the intricacies of the software application and changes that affect the end user experienceInteract with required stakeholders including Client Program Management Office, Scrum Development Team, infrastructure managers, and SME Team to understand the needs of end users and document those needs as training development requirementsSupport software testing as it may relate to GUI and Help System updatesSupport continuous innovation by implementing industry best training practices to improve technology tools and processes to increase team efficiency and technical executionMust have a confirmed active Secret clearance2+ years analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating training materials1+ years of Articulate 3601+ years of Instructional Design. Must be able to understand e-learning courses for development and an understanding of the standards1+ years using Adobe Captivate features to develop complex training materials1+ years using Photo Shop or comparable software to create a wide range of graphicsWorking knowledge of JIRAExcellent written and oral communication skillsDemonstrated ability to translate software workflows and features into user training materials and knowledge basesWorking knowledge of MS Products including SharePoint, Word and PowerPoint.

Demonstrated multi-tasking ability, problem solving skills and a consistent record of on-time delivery and customer serviceDemonstrated ability to work in a dynamic environmentDemonstrated ability to gather and decompose training requirements from various sources
