Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills Must be detail oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple training priorities effectively Plusses Military background Job Description A client of Insight Global is looking a Field Service Technical Trainer to join their team out of Ashburn, VA. The Technical Training Specialist is responsible for delivering technical training programs that support the onboarding, readiness, and ongoing development of Field Service personnel. This role manages a structured new hire training program and provides instruction in areas such as mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, troubleshooting, commissioning, software tools, and field service processes through classroom, hands-on, and lab-based learning. This position evaluates trainee performance, provides coaching and feedback, and maintains accurate training records to ensure employee readiness and compliance with safety standards. The specialist collaborates with Field Service leadership, engineering, and production teams to identify training needs and improve program effectiveness. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, technical accuracy, effective communication, and continuous improvement to ensure consistent, high-quality training delivery across the Field Service organization.
