Workforce Training & Continuing Education Open Continuous. This is an adjunct (part-time) position. Compensation will be pro-rated according to the amount of workload assigned. About Us Spokane Community College, part of Spokane Colleges, serves 15,000 students with career technical, liberal arts, and adult education programs in Spokane and surrounding rural communities. About the Corporate Trainer•Adjunct•Workforce Training & Continuing Education CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and deliver customized training programs for employees and organizations Develop instructional materials, presentations, and training resources Facilitate in-person, virtual, and hybrid training sessions Coordinate with business leaders to align training with organizational goals Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements Track participant progress, completion rates, and training outcomes Ensure training content meets industry standards and regulatory requirements Maintain training schedules, records, and program documentation Collaborate with subject-matter experts to develop relevant curriculum Provide coaching, mentoring, and follow-up support to participants Build relationships with business partners and community stakeholders Stay current on industry trends, workforce needs, and adult learning best practices MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience developing and delivering workforce or professional training programs Strong presentation, facilitation, and public speaking skills Ability to assess training needs and develop customized solutions Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and customer service skills Ability to adapt training content to diverse audiences and industries Experience tracking training outcomes and evaluating program effectiveness DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual learning platforms Knowledge of compliance, safety, or industry-specific training requirements preferred Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design. Experience with online, in-person, and hybrid training formats Experience working with businesses, industry partners, or workforce development programs preferred CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Benefits Information Adjunct faculty must work two (2) consecutive quarters at 50% or more of full-time academic load to qualify for benefits (based on instructional hours only). Once determined to be eligible, benefits begin on the first day of the month following the beginning of the quarter.
