WHAT YOU'LL DO
This is a hands-on, member-facing role that combines training, fieldwork, and relationship building with some travel to the Tri-Cities, Lewiston/Clarkston, and Moses Lake areas. Deliver engaging safety training (OSHA, First Aid/CPR, and more) Conduct jobsite visits and safety audits, providing practical, real-world guidance Support member companies with questions, challenges, and safety improvements Assist in developing and expanding AGC's safety programs and resources Build strong relationships with contractors across the region Stay on top of
OSHA/DOSH
updates and translate them into clear, useful information You'll split your time between the classroom, the field, and working alongside a team that's focused on delivering real value to members.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 3-5
years of experience in construction, safety, or a related field (commercial construction preferred) Working knowledge of OSHA standards and jobsite safety practices Experience leading training, toolbox talks, or presenting to groups Strong communication skills
- you can connect with crews, supervisors, and leadership Self-directed, organized, and comfortable managing a dynamic workload Willingness to be in the field and actively engage with members
PREFERRED
(BUT
NOT REQUIRED
) Certified Health and Safety Technician (CHST) or similar certification OSHA 10/30 or Outreach Trainer certification Experience conducting safety audits or inspections (If you don't have certifications yet but have the right experience and mindset, we're open to helping the right candidate grow into them.)
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
75-95k DOE Although our base salary may not always match top-end private sector roles, we offer a strong, well-rounded package and a work environment built for long-term sustainability.
