Summary/Objective The Technical Trainer plays a crucial role in Zünd America's commitment to delivering world class technical support to our customers. This position is responsible for developing and delivering customer specific machine operator training as well as internal technical training for Service, Applications, and Workflow team members. The Technical Trainer creates and maintains training curriculum, materials, and documentation while ensuring training equipment and facilities remain organized, functional, and ready for use. This role also provides technical support to customers and internal teams as needed.
What you would do:
Develop and maintain training programs, curriculum, materials, and documentation that align with customer needs and internal departmental training objectives. Deliver technical training to new and existing employees through classroom instruction, hands-on training, virtual sessions, and on the job training. Conduct customer operator training on Zund hardware and software at company training facilities and customer locations. Assist with scheduling training classes to ensure efficient use of resources and accommodating the availability of students. Evaluate and improve training processes, materials, and delivery methods to enhance the learning effectiveness. Maintain a high level of technical expertise in Zund products, systems, software and processes to effectively train customers and employees. Stay current on industry trends, technology advancements, and digital cutting and other manufacturing fields. Provide support to the service team on related projects and tasks as needed.
What we require from you:
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in technical training, field service, equipment operation, or a related technical role. Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with the ability to learn and explain equipment, software, and operational processes. Experience developing training materials, instructional content, manuals, or standard operating procedures preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively train individuals with varying levels of technical knowledge. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other training/documentations tool preferred.
