Responsibilities Provide professional grooming services tailored to each dog's breed, size, and individual needs within a mobile setting Handle dogs safely and confidently using animal restraint techniques to ensure a calm grooming process Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment by properly sanitizing grooming tools and equipment after each appointment Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide expert advice on pet care and maintenance Manage scheduling efficiently to ensure timely arrivals at client locations while maintaining high service standards Assist with pet handling during grooming procedures, ensuring comfort and safety for both the animal and yourself Uphold all safety protocols related to animal handling, veterinary experience, and heavy lifting to prevent injuries or stress for pets and staff Skills Proven experience in pet grooming, dog handling, and animal restraint techniques Knowledge of dog training principles and veterinary experience beneficial for understanding health concerns during grooming Background in veterinary technician or assistant roles, with familiarity in animal care procedures Strong animal handling skills across various breeds and temperaments Excellent customer service skills to foster trust and satisfaction among pet owners Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or larger dogs Experience in kennel management or pet sitting enhances your ability to care for animals comprehensively Embark on a rewarding career where your love for animals meets energetic service delivery.
