Enjoy staying busy and being part of a team? We're hiring dependable, hardworking Resort Staff members to join our growing pet care team. At Birmingham Animal Hospital + Resort, our resort is more than boarding — it's a safe, fun, clean, and caring environment where pets are treated like family.

What You'll Do:

Care for boarding and daycare dogs/cats throughout the day Walk pets, feed meals, refresh water, and monitor comfort Clean kennels, suites, yards, and common areas Assist with playgroups and supervised enrichment time Administer medications (training provided for qualified team members) Laundry, dishes, stocking, and keeping the resort organized Communicate clearly with teammates about pet behavior or concerns Help create a positive experience for pets and their owners

What We're Looking For:

Reliable and punctual Comfortable working around dogs of all sizes and cats Able to lift 40+ lbs, bend, stand, walk, and stay active Team player with a positive attitude Able to work weekends and holidays as needed Animal care experience is a plus, but we can train the right person

Schedule:

Full-time positions consist of three 12-hour shifts each week , giving you four days off while still maintaining a full-time schedule. Must have flexibility for weekends and holidays as needed.
