Out West Veterinary Center- Conway, AR Out West Veterinary Center is seeking a dependable and compassionate individual to join our team as a Kennel Staff Member .
Position Overview:
Kennel staff members are responsible for the proper husbandry care of all hospitalized and boarded animals. This includes feeding, bathing, monitoring, and maintaining detailed records. The position also includes ensuring the cleanliness of cages, runs, wards, and general hospital areas.Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years oldEducation:
High school diploma or currently enrolled in high schoolExperience:
Previous animal care experience preferred but not requiredPersonal Attributes:
Enjoys working with animals and can handle them with compassion, even when they are stressed, ill, or in pain Comfortable working in an environment with barking dogs and varying activity levels Must be available to work weekends and holidays Able to lift and carry animals and food bags (assistance provided for animals over 40 lbs) Able to walk or stand for extended periods and work in a bent position when needed Willing to work in conditions that may involve exposure to odors, noises, animal waste, and zoonotic diseasesJob Type:
